Materials Science of Actinides
To understand and control, at the nanoscale, materials that contain actinides (radioactive heavy elements such as uranium and plutonium) to lay the scientific foundation for advanced nuclear energy systems.
Actinide Short Course

An Actinide Short course will be held at Savannah River National Laboratory. The class will be taught by Dr. Thomas Albrecht-Schmitt July 26-29, 2010. The class will include a tour of SRNL and SRS.

All graduate students, post-doc students, and PIs are invited to attend.
