The EFRC conducts transformative research in the actinide sciences with full integration of experimental and computational approaches, and an emphasis on questions that are important to the energy future of the nation. Research is focused on actinide-based materials, especially those with nanoscale and otherwise complex structures, and the properties of these materials in extreme environments.
